Objectives

During the session the course provider will:

- Discuss the factors that contribute to anxious behaviour

- Demonstrate how verbal and non-verbal communication styles can aid anxiety management

- Demonstrate techniques to use when dealing with anxious behaviour e.g. de-escalation, and for assessing risk
