For Dental Therapists and Dental Hygienists to develop greater insight and act with confidence as leaders in the dental team, in order to work effectively within the scope of practice outlined in the NHS contract.

Objectives:

• To discuss importance of understanding of self and others and apply/adapt styles and skills to increase effective communication and leadership in the work place
• To discuss tools and techniques that can help effective communications especially with handling difficult conversation, conflict, negotiation
• To discuss awareness of power of language in conversation

After this course delegates will be able to:
