Meera graduated in Dentistry in 2001, obtained her MFDS RSC from Edinburgh in 2004 and completed her Diploma in Healthcare Professions Education from University College London in 2023.

She is currently the Associate Postgraduate Dean for Dental Workforce Development in the East of England, with experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level, particularly in

special care dentistry, as well as supporting DCPs with their training in sedation, as a previous Education Supervisor in the Community Dental Services.

This online course will be conducted via TEAMs.

This session will create a support network for Dental Practice Managers to facilitate best practice for leadership, accountability and governance in General Dental Practice.  This course is designed for those who work as practice managers or have roles where management forms part of their duties.

Course objective

• Facilitate conversations on practice management.
• Facilitate discussion to identify which governance topics PMs would like to cover in current and future sessions.
• Enable the group to share ideas and collectively work towards finding solutions.
  
  

Following the course you will be able to:

• Establish contacts with fellow professionals.
• Utilise the advantages of a peer review network.
• Share information which can be integrated to enhance the delivery of oral health care within their own organisations.
