Pre-Learning/Information:
On completion of the 3 day Effective Conversation programme you have an option gain accreditation for this learning via ILM, Pro-Noctis Ltd will provide an opportunity to convert your learning, the options for this are shown below;

  • To convert to an ILM 3 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring for a cost of £650 + VAT, this will include 1 additional day of training, registration with the ILM, resources and workbooks, draft and final marking of written work and certification. The ILM 3 Certificate requires you to complete 2 written assignments, 12 hours of 1:1 coaching with 1 or 2 people and a reflective journal.
  • To convert to ILM 5 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring for a cost of £950 + VAT, this will include 2 additional training days, registration with the ILM, resources and workbooks, draft and final marking of written work and certification. The ILM 5 Certificate requires you to complete a written assignment, 18 hours of 1:1 coaching with 2 or 3 people and a reflective journal

An experienced coach, mentor, Master NLP practitioner, ILM tutor, and coach supervisor working with leaders, managers and clinicians undertaking 1:1 coaching, mentoring, team development,

group facilitation and programmes of organisational development within companies, primarily to focus on; growth, development, skill enhancement, increased performance and efficiency to achieve better outcomes.

Now working as an Independent Management Consultant, after 10 successful years as a Director of Coaching Innovations Ltd.

Prior to this Sally worked as a management consultant for 2 years and within the NHS for 18 years, in a variety of organisations within the Human Resource and Organisational Development field, with 8 years at Board level.

Sally has an Advanced Certificate in Executive Coaching, is a Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming (MNLP), has a MA in Human Resource Management and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Utilising her extensive experience within HR and OD Sally’s approach is to involve, facilitate and motivate individuals, teams and organisations to be successful through using a number of practical tools and techniques,

to be emotionally skilled, increase communication effectiveness, challenge, accelerate learning and create a strong value base.

She tutors and assesses Coaching/Mentoring training at Level 3, 5 and 7 via ILM

Aims:

The aim of this 3-day course is to introduce the dental team to coaching and mentoring theories, techniques and tools, in order to use a coaching approach as part of their day-to-day practice.

 

During the course the speaker will:

  • Introduce the delegate to coaching and mentoring theories, techniques and tools.
  • Discuss different coaching approaches and styles, whilst connecting these to current and previous learning, continuous development, supervision, appraisal and revalidation systems.
  • Provide opportunities for coaching and mentoring practice, feedback, peer support and supervision.

 

 


Learning outcomes:

Following the course you will be able to:
  • Appreciate and understand different coaching tools and techniques, as well as a have a framework for coaching and boundary management.
  • Feel confident in the practical application of these tools and techniques in the workplace for effective team working.
  • Understand how these tools lead to positive behaviour change to deliver increased performance and productivity within dental careers and the workplace.
