Aims:
This comprehensive Level 1 consolidation course is for practitioners with a keen interest in paediatric dentistry.
It aims to provide an enhanced level of knowledge and clinical skills in the management of children and young people in a primary care setting, with a view to prepare practitioners to approach a Level 2 paediatric skill set. It includes interactive lectures, case-based discussed, hands-on practical skills, and peer review sessions.
The objective of the course is that upon completion, delegates will have consolidated their Paediatric knowledge and skills that will assist the practitioner in delivering a consistent high standard of Level 1 patient care specifically in relation (but not exclusive) to:

This Level 1 course will run over 6 x days (dates/timings below) through a mixture of virtual and hands-on learning. Attendance at all dates is mandatory in order to obtain the full CPD.

The course is led by Urshla (Oosh) Devalia. Oosh is a Paediatric Dental Consultant working at the Royal National ENT & Eastman Dental Hospital, UCLH, London and in the community dental services in Bedfordshire. She is also the Managed Clinical Network Chair for Paediatric Dentistry in the East of England.
