This evening webinar explains the local protocols and pathways for referring patients for orthodontic treatment. It describes how to assess patients for referral, including using IOTN, and describes the indications for such referral. The impact that COVID-19 has had on the provision of NHS orthodontic treatment will be explained.

Speaker: Guy Deeming
Guy is a Specialist Orthodontist working in specialist practice in Billingham and Jesmond.
He originally qualified from Newcastle before working in a number of hospital positions in maxillofacial surgery and restorative dentistry in Manchester and London. He undertook Specialist training at Guy's and Kingston Hospitals before going into specialist practice in the South East. He moved to the North East in 2008 where he lives with his partner and two children. He is a past Director of Clinical Practice for the British Orthodontic Society and Past Chair of the Tees and County Durham Orthodontic MCN.
