Aims:
AIMS: Day 1 - Anterior Composites An understanding on the process involved in treatment planning anterior composite cases and how to fabricate and correctly use silicone indexes. Improve technical ability to perform direct anterior restorations. Delegates will have the opportunity to restore a Class IV (central incisor) and plan and execute how to close a diastema. Finishing and polishing techniques for achieving natural looking teeth. Tips and advice involving isolation, adhesive techniques, layering of composite and building contact points. Day 2 - Posterior Composites Understand posterior tooth morphology Management and prevention of posterior composite failures Improve technical ability to perfect direct posterior composites (Class I and Class II Restorations) Opportunity to use sectional matrix system Tips and advice involving isolation and building of contact points Managing the occlusion in direct restorations OBJECTIVES: Perform direct anterior and posterior restorations in the GDP setting
