The aim of this course is to equip practice managers to effectively manage and resolve conflicts amongst staff members, management and patients within the dental workplace. 

Course objectives:

• Discuss common causes of conflict within dental practice settings, considering different conflict styles and behaviours.
• Outline communication techniques and conflict resolution frameworks to address disputes
• Explore the role of the practice manager in conflict management, considering disagreements with patients as well as amongst the team

Following the course you will be able to:

• Identify early signs of conflict and de-escalate tense situations effectively.
  
• Implement active listening and problem-solving to de-escalate conflict.
• Promote a positive working environment for improved staff wellbeing and patient care.
