Jen is a Specialist Grade in Oral Surgery and a Level 2 Oral Surgery Provided in Essex and East Anglia. She is on the Local Dental Committee for Essex and also is an Associate Fellow council member for the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Speaker: Vyomesh Bhatt

Mr Vyomesh Bhatt is a Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon based in Essex. His NHS base is Southend Hospital and Broomfield Hospital where he is the Lead Clinician for the regional service. He also chairs the Managed Clinical Network for Oral Surgery in Essex and Chairs the Clinical Triage Group for Oral Surgery across East Anglia. Vyomesh is also the Regional Specialty Advisor for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery to the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

To review delegates practice, reflect upon challenging cases and share technique to enhance skills.

Course objectives:

To review current skills in oral surgery

To share experiences, successes and challenges in case discussions

To identify tips and tricks for improving ones’ practice

Learning content:

Participants are invited to bring cases including clinical photographs, videos and radiographs to showcase their oral surgery skills and reflect on more challenging cases

Presentation of 1-3 cases from each delegate will be presented, followed by interactive group discussion

Pre-course Learning/Information:

Delegates will need to collect clinical and radiographic anonymised data for 1-3 patients and present in the form of a powerpoint presentation
