To enable dental professionals to recognise and meet their responsibilities to maintain and protect patients information GDC Principle 4.

During this session the course provider will: 

  • Identify ways that dental teams can work together to ensure the protection of patients data
  • Describe how to set practical ways to implement systems for data security
  • Define record keeping requirements for the safe management of patients data

Learning outcomes:

Following this session delegates will be able to: 

  • Create processes and procedures to create data handling protocols
  • Develop team training and updating methods
  • Understand the need to record and audit data security processes

This is an online learning event delivered by speaker Glenys Bridges via MS Teams. Glenys is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel Development and established dental trainer and business consultant. Glenys specialises in enabling dental professionals to manage their teams to achieve the highest standards of patient-centred dental care in line with regulatory standards. 

This course is suitable for the whole team and costs £15 for Dentists and £5 for Dental Care Professionals.
