Equip dental staff to use their professional and clinical knowledge to identify signs of abuse or neglect.
Detail how concerns of abuse of should be managed within a multi agency context.
Learning Content
Describe appropriately the signs and symptoms of possible abuse or neglect of children, young people and adults at risk with who they come into contact.
Explain which individuals, organisations and reference documents the should refer to, and take advice from, if concerned about a child, young person or adult at risks wellbeing.
Outline how to evaluate risk when considering whether or not to request consent to share information about a child, young person or adult at risk with the statutory guidelines.
