Outline assessment, diagnosis and orthodontic considerations of poor prognosis first permanent molars in children due to caries or enamel defects

Provide an overview of treatment options for poor prognosis first permanent molars.

Discuss referral of patients requiring specialist input.

Following the course you will be able to:

Recall information on how to assess and diagnose first permanent molars with poor prognosis in children.

Consider orthodontic implications with regards to timing of treatment.

Be able to offer treatment options to patients, including when to refer for specialist input.
